About Shiksha

Shiksha is a free public directory of orphanages and old age homes across the districts of Tamil Nadu. Its only job is to be a bridge: a donor or volunteer finds a home near them, sees what that home actually needs right now, and contacts the home directly.

We never handle money — no payments, no donation button, nothing. We never take a cut, and we never charge homes or users. Every listing links to the home's own phone number and address so contact is direct.

Only one admin can add or change data, and every listing is reviewed before publishing.
